2月11日，上海边检总站虹桥边检站查获了一起涉嫌参与和引带他人跨境赌博的案件。当日，虹桥边检站民警在虹桥机场国际候机楼开展例行巡查时，一名在出境大厅内形迹可疑的男子引起了民警注意，经观察研判发现，这名男子有出境从事非法活动的嫌疑，民警遂上前进行询问检查，经查，发现这名中国籍男子此前多次前往澳门赌博，不仅如此，更是干起了介绍他人赴澳门赌博并抽取提成的勾当。据当事人交待，此番前往韩国就是借探亲之名，顺便“考察”韩国当地的赌博产业，企图在韩“故技重施”，准备以境外低价游、免费游为幌子拉拢招募赌客获取非法利益，因此抱着侥幸心理，在春节期间铤而走险，没想到在虹桥国际机场出境大厅被移民管理警察当场查获。
